So yeah, I guess I'll just download all my stuff from GPM and upload it (against my better judgement given how google keeps doing shit like this) to my drive and will definitely be giving CloudPlayer a try. The playlist situation is just a lost cause, I guess, but I suppose there's nothing that can be done about that besides to take screenshots or something and deal with it later/as I feel like it. My problems are first of all that I have spent years building various playlists on GPM that I don't want to take the time to make on Pandora and second that I have several "miscellaneous" MP3s like marching band/DCI recordings that would not match up to anything in YTM's catalog were I to try transferring, so I'm not sure if I can trust it since I have seen several people say that the transfer seemed to have lost some of their music, even music that should have had no problem transferring.

Plus Pandora is really nice to just play a "station" or whatever and get a variety of music I'm in the mood for when I'm not really sure what I want to listen to. I have a premium subscription so I don't have to deal with ads or anything. I recently started using Pandora for streaming and have bought MP3s from Amazon for years since physical media started being phased out, so I have only used GPM as a music locker for music I owned before I started buying from Amazon, never as a streaming service.įor most of the music I have in GPM, I can just use Pandora for.
